So how exactly do we keep our mind clear and focused?
I believe the Bible and other texts can provide us with some great wisdom that moves us into action.
Remember only actions and thoughts can produce results.
“Keep what you believe about this matter, then, between yourself and God. Happy are those who do not feel guilty when they do something they judge is right!”
How to keep your minds clear and focused!
Keep your thoughts to yourself.
If you don’t you will meet with judgement and negativity.
How about some Bible verses for this lesson.
Just be honest with yourself, look at this objectively.
After reading them, ask yourself if you have people in your life that do these things.
Remember also that we don’t teach to be religious we teach taking action.
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” – Galatians 5:16
“As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” – Romans 14:1-23
“As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him,” – Titus 3:10
“Having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.” – 2 Timothy 3:5
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. “ – Romans 12:2
“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.“ – Proverbs 4:23
My favorite verse about negativity.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12
If you have followed along with the outline of how to get what you want, getting past this road bump will be easier.
We now know what our desire is.
We also know what our plan is and we have faith in it.
We only need to focus on putting forth action on that plan, while at the same time keeping it to ourselves.
In the last step of our process on “getting what you want in life” we will discuss the secret sauce.
Following through with this last step is the key to all success stories.
