Our next step is to create a plan of action that is focused on being of service.
“…pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.” – Maya Angelou.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” – Confucius.
“Take a Job That You Love.” – Warren Buffett
“Earn your success based on service to others, not at the expense of others.” – H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” – Muhammad Ali
“Some of our finest work comes through service to others.” – Gordon B. Hinckley
“Being of service to others is what brings true happiness.” – Marie Osmond
“The end of all knowledge should be service to others.” – Cesar Chavez
“Leadership is service to others.” – Denise Morrison
To get what we want in life, we must first give something to receive it.
What can you do right now that will provide a valuable service to someone else.
Take my example of wanting to sail around the world. I’ll definitely need a sailboat for that.
To get a sailboat I’ll need to pay for it.
So I need to be of service to others and get paid for that and then buy a sailboat.
I know that this all sounds like something everyone should know.
But do we actually take action on a plan to provide a service?
We all have some kind of skill that is valuable.
We only have to look inside to find it.
The second step in getting what we want in life is to become a being that provides a valuable solution to someone else’s problems.
Be a problem solver.
It doesn’t matter what kind of a problem that you have.
There is a solution to it.
Once you find your talent, the thing you love to do, life becomes easier and more fulfilling.
Then you can focus your energy into doing the thing that provides you love and happiness.
So how do we find our talent that will be of service to others?
I have found that there is only one thing that keeps us from what we want.
That is ourselves, our egos.
The ego is a self serving phantom, it doesn’t care about anyone, not even us.
How did I find this? By looking at myself in the mirror, literally.
What I saw was a lot of boxes.
There was the white box, the Christian box, the male box, the age box, the American box and a myriad of other boxes.
These boxes are created by teachings from outside sources that are inside the box.
The worst part about being inside the box is you can not see what’s outside the box, it is a trap devised by the ego.
These are the self serving shadows that we live in daily, created by not only outside influences, but by our own minds.
To find that talent we must think outside the box.
Deny ourselves these self limiting titles and beliefs and the talents show up.
I don’t consider myself in any of those boxes anymore.
I just don’t relate to them anymore.
I’m free to take action now and forever.
I just don’t care about titles, they are useless, foolish and will never serve anyone, not you or even me.
So discard your titles, whatever they may be.
Do this one thing and you will find yourself on the fast track to living the life of your dreams.
You will find the hidden talent that you can do and have fun doing it.
This is also a fact we can only change this world and make it better by taking the action and performing these services to others.
Have FAITH in creating a ACTIONABLE PLAN that will reward you for being in service to others.
“There are at least a billion things I am not adept at. Trying to complete them all will only make us mediocre and waste our time. Instead focus on only one single objective and becoming adept at it, will transform any life.” Robert Pulaski
In the next lesson tomorrow we will discuss on how to keep our MIND CLEAR!
